Oral Blankson

Development Officer

Oral Blankson, a native of Midwest City, Oklahoma, has excelled as a fundraising professional at the most prestigious universities in Oklahoma and Texas since 2012. With a background in university and athletic fundraising, his primary responsibilities included donor prospecting, qualification, solicitation, and securing philanthropic dollars to support higher education. Through his service, Oral has enjoyed utilizing his passions in relationship building, public speaking, and being a liaison for his community.

Oral sits on the Citizens Advisory Board (CAB) for Cleveland County, which consists of community leaders helping to provide for less fortunate children through various programming. Oral has also been involved with Toastmasters International Inc., and is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL Class XIII.

Oral graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and a master’s degree in Adult & Higher Education/Intercollegiate Athletics Administration.

Oral is a first generation Oklahoman, while his parents originate from Ghana, West Africa. Oral lives for making new friends, voted “Most Friendly” in high school. When he's not an extrovert, Oral enjoys shopping at thrift stores finding one of a kind items
