Brenda Schwartz

Director of Honoree & Board Relations

Brenda is a proud, fourth-generation Oklahoman who began her career at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2007 as the Director of Operations assisting with the opening of the Gaylord-Pickens Museum. Now as the Director of Honoree & Board Relations she is manages the yearly outreach to Members previously inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, assists each new Honoree upon their selection and induction, and coordinates all aspects of current and incoming Board members.

Schwartz received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and then began a career in state government serving as support staff for former Governor Frank Keating and Deputy Chief-of -Staff for First Lady Cathy Keating. While working side-by-side with the First Lady, Brenda traveled to many Oklahoma communities, deepening her love for the people of our state, and sharpening her interest in the non-profit community.

Brenda has served on the Infant Crisis Services Board, Yukon Community Education Advisory Council, and as a volunteer for numerous political candidates.

Brenda, her husband Colby, and two daughters live in their hometown of Yukon. They enjoy taking weekend trips together to explore Oklahoma and attending OU football or Thunder Basketball games.
