Bethany Deason

Director of Building Operations

Bethany Deason joined the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Gaylord Pickens Museum team as Director of Building Operations in January of 2019. As a third generation Oklahoman, she was raised in Tulsa. Bethany graduated from Jenks High School and went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 2003.

Bethany began her career as a structural engineer intern at an Oklahoma City structural engineering consulting firm. Being a structural engineer, in a fast paced consulting firm allowed her to be a part of many building construction projects. Bethany’s portfolio ranges from public school buildings, to office buildings to museums both in the metro area and across the state.

Bethany enjoys life in Midtown, Oklahoma City with her husband, Chris, and two children. She volunteers at the neighborhood school and co-leads a group of energetic Girl Scout Brownies. Bethany likes to camp and hike with her family and enjoys baking bread and sewing curtains.
