Vice President of Operations
Bethany Deason joined the staff as Director of Building Operations in January of 2019 and was made Vice President of Operations in 2021. As Vice President of Operations, Bethany is responsible for building administration, facility maintenance, and special events. Having received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, in 2003, Bethany worked as a structural engineer in Oklahoma City for 10 years. Her portfolio ranges from university buildings and public school buildings, to office buildings and museums in the metro area and across the state.
As a fourth-generation Oklahoman, she was raised in Tulsa and graduated from Jenks High School. Interested in buildings and construction, Bethany pursued coursework in Architecture and Engineering at the University of Oklahoma.
Deason enjoys life in Midtown, Oklahoma City with her husband, Chris, and two children. She likes baking, eating the results, volunteering at the neighborhood school, camping and hiking.
