Manager of Special Events
April Waggoner joined the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2021 as the Manager of Special Events. Her responsibilities include managing and overseeing the corporate, social and internal events at the Gaylord Pickens Museum.
She is a third generation Oklahoman and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts and in 2001 with a Masters in Human Relations. She has over twelve years of corporate event planning experience from Devon Energy and has nonprofit experience from the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits.
April is a member of Junior League of Oklahoma City and has served on several committees with local nonprofits. She resides in Oklahoma City with her husband, Ryan, and their two dogs.
