Katherine McLemore

Accounting Associate

Katherine is a native of Oklahoma City and a fourth generation Oklahoman. She started working as an Administrative Assistant with the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2002. She now works in the Accounting department and manages the member and donor database. Katherine is proud to be a part of an organization that promotes knowledge of outstanding Oklahomans and educates children and adults alike on Oklahoma’s rich history.

Katherine is a musician and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance and a minor in Piano Performance. She was voted Outstanding Senior Woman of the OCU School of Music. She then went on to study at Trinity College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Katherine has served on the faculty of the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma Baptist University as the instructor of oboe.

Katherine has been a member of the OKC Philharmonic for 14 years. She previously maintained a private oboe studio as well as piano, teaching piano mostly to children. She also taught piano at the OCU Performing Arts Academy for many years and served as the accompanist for the Suzuki violin program. She was a church pianist and organist for many years.

Katherine has traveled extensively, mostly for music festivals and study and has seen and absorbed many cultures but feels there is no place that compares to Oklahoma.The people of Oklahoma are the kindest and most generous of anywhere she’s been. She is proud to be raising her family in such a warm and diverse environment.

Closed on July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
