Margaret Reynolds Hoge
Margaret Reynolds Hoge was born and raised in Oklahoma City. After graduating from Heritage Hall, she attended Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) for two years and received a BFA in All Level Art Education from the University of North Texas. Post graduate work at the University of Oklahoma lead to her Minor in Geology.Hoge created the art curriculum and taught at The Greenhill School (Dallas, TX), created the art curriculum and taught at Will Rogers Elementary School (Putnam City Public Schools), and created the art curriculum and teaches in the Lower School at Heritage Hall. Her students have won numerous local, state, national and international art awards. Her art program has been recognized as one of the top 10 programs in the state of Oklahoma.Margaret has been named the State of Oklahoma Elementary Art Educator of the Year. She has been listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World. She designed and created the Oklahoma State ornaments for the Pageant of Peace (Washington, DC). Hoge is known for her realistic renderings of wildlife and landscapes. Her oil pastels can be found in residences and businesses throughout Oklahoma City.In addition to serving as Past President of the Junior League of Oklahoma City, Hoge has served on numerous other community boards including the Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Board, the OKC Art’s Festival Children’s Art Coordinator, and All Souls Episcopal Church Vestry.
