Jerry Isbell was raised in Broken Bow. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma and has been involved in numerous corporate and entrepreneurial ventures. Jerry, and his wife, Sherri, created www.BeaversBendVacations.com in 2006. Their Mountain Vista Cabin features acres of seclusion and a 50-mile view of the Kiamichi Mountains near Beavers Bend State Park. Jerry is on the board of directors of the Limbs for Life Foundation, a global non-profit that donates prosthetics to amputees. Jerry and Sherri live in Norman, Oklahoma, with their Grand Champion Brussels Griffon show dog.

Explosion of Prosperity

Broken Bow Lake is a reservoir located in southeastern Oklahoma. It is part of Beavers Bend State Park and the nearby town of Hochatown. The lake was created in the 1930s by the construction of a dam on Mountain Fork River, and is now a popular destination for fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities.
