Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is all about appreciating all that we have in our lives: our family, friends and loved ones who are there to support us. Former First Lady Cathy Keating loves Thanksgiving and even considers it her favorite holiday! Cathy Keating has devoted her life to community service and giving back to her Oklahoma communities, particularly in Tulsa, her hometown. She has been involved in non-profits most of her life and continues to advocate and work towards a better Oklahoma. From serving on various boards to volunteering her time, Mrs. Keating knows the value of giving your time and energy towards wonderful causes. During this season of appreciation and thinking of other, we would like to highlight Cathy Keating and her unwavering devotion to Oklahoma!

Help your parents clean the yard by raking up leaves and sticks that may be left laying around. You might get to build a big pile of leaves that you can jump into! Or, why not help someone else in your neighborhood who may not be able to clean their yards. I am sure they will be very thankful! You can also go on a nature walk collecting various things that can be used for one of the arts and crafts activities. Collect interesting leaves, sticks, acorns and such!
