Physicians Day - Dr. Philip J. Kistler
Today we’re grabbing our lab coats and stethoscopes to help people. Now more than ever it’s important to celebrate doctors and all that they do to help our communities!
Today’s theme is inspired by Oklahoma Hall of Fame Member Dr. Philip J. Kistler. His hometown is Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Kistler earned his Bachelors degree from Harvard and his medical degree from Columbia before beginning his very successful career as a practicing doctor and professor at Harvard University. Additionally, Dr Kistler served as the director of Stroke Services at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kistler has received many awards for his accomplishments and authored numerous scientific journals. You can learn more by reading Dr. Kistler’s Oklahoma Hall of Fame biography.
