Fairytale Day - Kelli O'Hara
Today we’re donning our wings, grabbing our wands, and bippity boppity boop-ing our way through Fairytale Day! What better time than now to explore the world of fairytales?
Today’s theme is inspired by Oklahoma Hall of Fame Member Kelli O’Hara! Her hometown is Elk City, Oklahoma. O’Hara has been singing and acting most of her life! After earning a degree in opera from Oklahoma City University, O’Hara moved to New York City and attended acting school before launching her career on Broadway. Throughout her career, O’Hara has earned multiple awards for her talent. She has been in productions of Peter Pan, Jekyll and Hyde, and so many more! You can learn more by reading Kelli O’Hara’s Oklahoma Hall of Fame biography.
Do you have a favorite fairytale? Share your favorite with us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Kristin Chenoweth has been in Broadway productions of so many stories. And Van Heflin was active in movie tales too!
Make & Eat it! Food can and should be part of our fairytales! We think we deserve a treat since it’s a fairytale, right? These awesome looking Nutella Krispie Treats look perfect for our Fairytale Day! Oklahoma Hall of Fame Member Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman, has all sorts of recipes to fit our day!
