Red, White, and Brew 2021

It's time to celebrate America this weekend...and Oklahoma craft beer! Join the Oklahoma Hall of Fame’s Second Century Board on August 20th for the 7th Annual Oklahoma Born & Brewed. The evening will be full of delicious Oklahoma craft beer and great fun. Here are the top 10 reasons you won't want to miss this year's event!

Also, a huge thank you to this year's Oklahoma Born & Brewed Presenting Sponsor, American Fidelity Foundation!

1. Great People—Real, Live PEOPLE!

After a year of pivots, cancelations, postponements, and overall craziness we’re ready to ditch the screens and toast each other LIVE and in-person. We’re back and better than ever and ready to host you and your beer-loving posse for the most successful Oklahoma Born and Brewed event yet!

2. Great Beer!

Oklahoma’s craft beer industry continues to grow, and so does Oklahoma Born & Brewed. This year we have a record-breaking 20 Oklahoma breweries, including some of the breweries you’ve come to know and love as well as new breweries just hitting the market.

3.  Other Great Drinks, too!

If craft beer isn’t quite your thing, (or even if it is) you can enjoy seltzer and cider from participating vendors such as OK Cider Co.

4.  Great Stories!

The stories and the people behind Oklahoma’s breweries are just as amazing as the beer they create. This year, five breweries will do Live Beer Presentations during the event. You will get to hear about their brewery origin story, their processes, and of course their beer. Don’t miss hearing from: Angry Scotsman Brewing, Elk Valley Brewing Co., Roughtail Brewing Co., Stonecloud Brewing Co., and Vanessa House Beer Co.

5. Great Food!

Enjoy a full menu of summertime favorites from Abbey Road Catering. Fill your plate with chicken sliders on focaccia, pimento cheese with homemade chips, mini baked potato bites, raspberry tartes, strawberry shortcake, and much more!

6.  Great Entertainment!

Whether you’re showing off your dance moves or just watching everyone else show off their moves, the musical talent of  Erick Taylor will create the soundtrack for the 2021 event. And don’t miss out on an epic group photo with your squad in the selfie mirror photo booth, sponsored by BKD, CPAs.

7.  Great Prizes!

Try your luck at winning one of the amazing raffle packages offered by several Oklahoma businesses, including a weekend getaway to Tulsa or a custom suit by William & Lauren.

8.  Great Charity Event!

Oklahoma Born & Brewed is one of the top craft beer events in the state and was even named one of the Top 5 OKC Charity Events in 2020 by The Oklahoma Gazette. The event attracts some of the most influential young professionals and craft beer enthusiasts from across Oklahoma. With guests attending in casual cocktail attire and the festivities set inside the historic Gaylord-Pickens Museum, this definitely isn’t your average beer event!

9.  Great Local Business Gift Cards!

For just $20, you could win a gift card worth $25 to $100 in our annual gift card pull! This year, we’re putting our money where our mouth is and featuring gift cards from twenty-four Black-owned, Asian-owned, and Hispanic-owned Oklahoma businesses. This is one way we’re demonstrating our commitment to celebrate and support all Oklahomans.

10. Great Cause!

Oklahoma Born & Brewed has raised more than $125,000 over the last six years for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame's free educational and cultural programming! All proceeds from the event help further the Oklahoma Hall of Fame’s mission to tell Oklahoma’s story through its people. An array of virtual and in-person programs allows thousands of Oklahomans to learn just how special their heritage is, inspiring them to achieve their dreams like so many Oklahomans before them.
