Roberty Henry

Robert H. Henry was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and earned undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Oklahoma. While still in law school, he was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives where he served until 1986. That year, he was elected Oklahoma Attorney General, and in 1994 he was appointed as a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Henry became chief judge of the Tenth Circuit and served in that role until he was named the 17th president of Oklahoma City University in 2009 where he served until his retirement in 2018. Henry is a Member of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, inducted in 2008.
